This is our premium all-red grade: pure crimson stigmas with the pale style removed, the cut prized for its intense colour, aroma and flavour.

To Bloom the Threads

Steep 8 to 12 threads in 30ml of warm water or milk (never boiling) for 15 to 20 minutes. The liquid will turn a deep gold. Use the infusion, not the threads, for the strongest colour.

Storage

Keep the lid sealed, in a cool dark cupboard away from direct light. Stored well, the threads keep their strength for a long time.

The tips are removed so only the deep crimson stigma remains — the part that carries the most colour, aroma and taste. It is the cut we reach for when the dish, or the moment, deserves the very best.

Every pack carries a unique QR code. Scan it to see the harvest week, lab certificate and field photograph for your specific batch.

Independent Verification

Each shipment is tested by an accredited UK laboratory before it leaves our kitchen. The certificate travels with the batch.
