Eight hundred members. No more.
Each November the crocus opens for one morning. What we pick that week is the entire year’s saffron. We have decided to keep our members close to that number: eight hundred households, each receiving first refusal on the harvest before any pack reaches the shop.

What a Place BringsFirst refusal on every harvest.
Each year we set aside six grams of the season’s finest Moment Collection threads for every member, dispatched in March and again in October. You will know it is yours before any pack reaches the shop.
Members receive the harvest letter from Daniel, our third-generation grower, posted with each shipment. A photograph of the field on the morning your portion was picked is enclosed.

A Note From Daniel
We grow patient because the flower does not negotiate. Members are the only ones we tell when the morning comes.

A short letter.
We accept applications between September and November. New members enter on a rolling basis as existing places open. Tell us a little about your kitchen and how you would use the allocation.
